Lir honored the sacred duty of a jester so deeply that he could not endure the suffering of the people. His jokes became increasingly provocative. He was led to the executioner’s block after he asked: “What does an Emperor gain by closing his eyes to his people?”
Learian laughed in the face of death and finished the joke with the line: “The Emperor gets what he deserves.” History named him a Hero. The Game did too.
